Paul Scholes stated on a podcast that Chelsea's sale of Enzo Fernandes to Manchester City would ruin their chances of winning the Premier League title.
Manchester City signed Fernandes for £125 million on transfer deadline day, making him one of the joint most expensive players in Premier League history. Paul Scholes said on the podcast "The Good, The Bad & The Football" that Chelsea cannot let the Argentine midfielder go if they want to win the Premier League.
Scholes also stated that Enzo is an excellent player who would be a great help to Manchester City, but Chelsea shouldn't have sold him to a direct rival. He believes this deal would jeopardize Chelsea's title hopes this season.
