Mbuku will continue playing in Belgium. Sint-Truiden has officially announced the loan signing of the 24-year-old Congolese (Democratic Republic of Congo) international left winger from Augsburg, with an option to buy. The former Reims player, marginalized by German clubs, just completed a full season at Montpellier, making 30 appearances in Ligue 2, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists. Mbuku will now be hoping to find more stability in Belgium.

Mbuk came through the Reims youth academy and joined Augsburg as a free agent in 2023.

Since arriving in Germany, he has never been able to establish himself, and has been loaned to Saint-Étienne, Dinamo Zagreb and Montpellier. Now he is embarking on a new journey in Sint-Truiden.

This winger, who was selected for the Democratic Republic of Congo national team and participated in the last World Cup, hopes to regain playing time through this fourth loan and persuade the Belgian club to activate the buy-out clause.
