According to Sky Sports, Gianni Infantino will run for re-election as FIFA president next March.
Gianni Infantino has been under pressure to resign after attempting to sell his FIFA club stake to private investors. He has refused to step down, and a candidate is likely to challenge him at next year's FIFA Congress in Morocco.
Candidates who wish to challenge Infantino must declare their intention to run by November 18.
A FIFA spokesperson said: "The FIFA president announced in April that he would run for re-election in 2027. Of course, nothing has changed. Mr. Infantino will run for re-election."
Infantino has been criticized by FIFA vice presidents from Asia, Europe, and North America. Last month, European countries withdrew their threat to boycott FIFA events after receiving assurances that such attempts to distort matches would never happen again.
However, European football governing bodies continue to push for Infantino's resignation. In recent weeks, Infantino has used his travels abroad to emphasize how FIFA raises funds and invests them in its member associations, each of which has an equal vote in the presidential election.
This week, Gianni Infantino attended the U20 Women's World Cup in Poland but declined to discuss his future or his dispute with UEFA.
