Meunier, who was once teammates with Bouadi at Lille, has no doubt about the talent of Manchester City's new midfielder. On the contrary, the 35-year-old Belgian no longer wants to measure a player's value by transfer fees. After the Moroccan's €100 million transfer to Manchester City, he expressed strong criticism of the current transfer market.
Meunier said: "Buadi is too good. But we don't need to talk about money anymore because everything has lost its logic. You can buy a donkey for £200 million and you can buy a very good player for £20 million. It doesn't make any sense anymore."
